Prior to his position at BB&T, Mr. Ernsberger was with First Union Corporation (now Wachovia Corporation) in
Charlotte, North Carolina, for thirteen years. There he held positions as Manager of Leadership Training, Senior Consultant in Management and Leadership Development and Manager of College Recruiting.

Since joining Farr Associates, Mr. Ernsberger has transformed the small, family-owned business into one that succeeds at national and international levels by preserving
the long tradition of superior leadership and organizational change technologies for which Farr is known, while at the same time expanding those offerings to meet the critical and practical needs of an ever-changing business environment.

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Mr. Ernsberger is a graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

He is a certified as both a DDI trainer and Power and Systems trainer, and has extensive experience with helping leaders, team, and organizations improve their effectiveness.
His experience includes various assessment instruments, impact studies, group facilitation, climate studies, simulations and outdoor leadership/team development.

Tracey has served as an Independent Business Advisor and Management Consultant for Value Advisors / Kaleidoscope Business Options.  While there she advised private businesses on creating shareholder wealth and developing strategies and tactical action plans to enhance enterprise value.  Additionally, she authored a proprietary assessment tool and methodology to resolve growth, business performance, capital, and ownership challenges. 

Tracey's experience also includes serving as the Director and Senior Vice President of Commercial Loan Syndications of Wachovia Bank (formerly First Union). 

While at First Union, Tracey held the positions of Senior Principal and Senior Vice President of Capital Strategies Group, Director and Senior Vice President of Corporate Banking, Consultant and Vice President of Training and Development / Organizational Development. 

Dr. Roger Cole is a licensed Industrial-Organizational Psychologist with over 25 years of consulting, assessment, training and coaching experience. He earned a Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Tennessee, and a B.A..
in Psychology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Dr. Cole's core expertise is in managing culture change, leading and facilitating teams, individual and organization assessment, and process improvement. His expertise has made him a sought after talent by organizations
such as: NASA, the U.S. Army, the Department of Energy, and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). With these and many other organizations, Roger has helped guide leadership teams through the challenges of determining the need for change, planning the change process, articulating the future
vision, identifying and overcoming the obstacles of change, and pulling together the necessary resources.

Before coming to Farr in early 2006, Dr. Cole was the Director of Consulting Services at MPC, Inc., a management consulting firm in Huntsville, Alabama. Prior to his work at MPC, Roger was the Director of Consulting Services with Impact Associates, Inc. in Maryville, Tennessee, a Senior Consultant with Tennessee Associates International (TAI) in Alcoa, Tennessee, and an internal Organization Development
Consultant for 11 years with the TVA in Knoxville,
Tennessee. While working with TAI, he lived in Thailand and consulted with a Thai organization helping them establish a management and leadership development system. While at the TVA, he completed Columbia University’s and the University of Michigan’s Advanced Program in
Organizational Development and Human Resource Management.

In addition to his training and work as a neuropsychologist
Steve served as a consultant to executives seeking to increase personal performance by applying his knowledge of psychology and decision-making processes to improve individual results. He is a sought after speaker in the area of success psychology, and has facilitated business workshops and seminars for many audiences, including The Association of Small Business Development Centers, The International Franchise Association, and multiple professional organizations such as the American Psychological Association.

Mr. Baumgartner works on both the national and international level coaching senior executives who must improve their leadership effectiveness, are facing challenges in their leadership role, or are going through an on-boarding process. In addition, he works with executive teams, helping them improve their impact on business and financial performance.

Mr. Baumgartner's primary role at Farr Associates is as the primary consultant to Farr's largest client, BB&T. In this role Mr. Baumgartner works with the senior executive team, at BB&T, to help improve their organizational impact and to develop an organizational strategy for developing all senior leadership talent and improving team performance bank wide.

As a coach Mr. Baumgartner also works with senior executives from organizations such as Halliburton, American Scientific, and Texas Instruments. The coaching he provides promotes continuous improvement of leadership abilities which improves organizational effectiveness for ongoing growth.

In the role of a team consultant, Mr. Baumgartner helps teams identify and focus on their top initiatives which most impact and improve business outcomes.

Denise Green joined Farr Associates in 1997 after working in public accounting at Arthur Andersen LLP for 5 years.  She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and a Masters of Accounting.  After taking a few years off to raise her family, she returned to Farr Associates as CFO & Operations Manager in 2007.
