Visionary Business Owner Goes Far with

Challenge
Bolton & Associates is a civil engineering firm specializing in land planning and surveying. Gore Bolton had always been interested in business development, and as his company began to grow quickly, he knew it needed leadership and organizational development as well.

Solution - Senior Level Executive Development

Bolton attended Farr's Senior Level Executive Development Workshop and was hooked. He took what he learned in the workshop and immediately began integrating it into the way he led his entire company. He sent other top leaders for training, and with help from Farr, he developed a human system strategic plan for leadership success.

Outcomes
Right away, Bolton saw positive results from his company's work with Farr. However, he had no idea what a significant impact Farr Associates would have on Bolton & Associates' future. In June 2002, the company faced an unexpected tragedy when Bolton's partner, Tony Latham, was severely injured in an automobile accident. Latham was only able to work intermittently and eventually left the firm in 2003.
